Hyderabad beheading threat

The Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM), whose legislators and cadre attacked Taslima Nasreen here, on Friday threatened to behead the Bangladeshi author, if she ever set foot in the city again.

MIM leader in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly Akbaruddin Owaisi said that anyone who committed blasphemy deserved to be beheaded. “Muslims are proud of what our legislators and workers have done, because we can never tolerate any insult to Prophet Mohammed,” Akbaruddin, whose party has five legislators in the 294-member Assembly, told reporters.

“If she comes to the city again, we will kill her”, added Muqtada Afsar Khan, one of the three MIM legislators who attacked the writer at a book release function in the press club.

That's alright then...

There have been no killings of apostates in Edinburgh to date. Clearly, if this was something they were promoting, they're not very good at it

Muslim Association of Britain spokesperson Osama Saeed's amusing comment on report that Saudi pamphlet advocating the killing of apostates was found in Edinburgh mosque. Funnily enough, MAB's own Inspire publication once asserted, in an article on “Islam and Human Rights” that apostasy from Islam is either “a religious offence punishable by death” or “an act of mutiny or treason, that is punishable” as such.

oil money encourages killing of ex-Muslims

The scholars have mentioned that a person may become apostate for many reasons which can nullify his faith. These reasons would make someone's blood permissible to spill [to be killed for apostasy] and his wealth permissible to be usurped, because he is no longer a Muslim.
"Correct Beliefs and What Opposes Them" - a pamphlet published by the Saudi Ministry for Islamic Affairs and donated in large numbers to British mosques by King Fahd for free distribution.

Killing apostates is a legitimate "anti-Western" view - Bunglawala

...we live in an open, democratic society where it is not illegal to sell books which contain anti-Western views

Inayat Bunglawala, Muslim Council of Britain, referring to Saudi literature such as Correct Beliefs and What Opposes Them" - a volume sold at various British mosques, which calls for apostates to be killed.

Community rallies round apostate

One convert interviewed for the programme told how his local Muslim community in Bradford closed ranks against him after he switched to Christianity. 'They told me categorically had I been in an Islamic country - Pakistan, Middle East - that they would actually be the first to chop off my head,' he said.

"Ayaan Hirsi Ali will not escape her punishment: death"

"If Hirsi Ali is murdered by a woman that will have a much bigger impact"
Fatima, Naima and Khadisja, interviewed in "De Volkskrant". Naima "stelt dat de zusters geduld hebben. 'Al moet het tien jaar duren.'" - the sisters are patient: "even if it will take ten years". Even if Hirsi Ali gives up and disappears, it's still "too late" for her: "she will not escape her punishment: death".

Death penalty for apostates passes unopposed in Pakistan

7.Punishment for apostasy:- (1) If a male person makes the commission of apostasy offence, he shall be awarded death sentence.

An Apostasy Act has been sent by Pakistan's National Assembly to a Standing Committee for approval. Proposed by Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (the MMA is a coalition of Islamist groups, including the Jamaat-e-Islami, whose representatives serve on the Muslim Council of Britain via the Islamic Mission and the Islamic Foundation). The Apostasy Act 2006 proposes the death penalty for apostates, who may be offered up to the gallows by observant Muslims: "The saying of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.) is that he who leaves Islam and converts into another must be killed." See full text of
Apostasy Act 2006.

Pakistan's penal code already imposes the death penalty for defiling "the sacred name of the holy Prophet Mohammed" - ordinary christians and muslims have already been murdered by the state for petty thought crimes.

Burn apostate 'scum'

This lady is scum, she is appeasing the west, by making false accusations against Islam. ...She says that the Quran is not the literal word of Allah, and claims other muslims also think this, well even to have doubt in this is KUFR (Disbelief) ...
She is just that fuel for the fire, charcoal for a barbeque, like a matchstick to a cigarette, like petrol for a car. Nothing more!!!!

Hating apostates

Obviously this action of leaving Islaam should be something hated to any sane Sunni muslim just as they would hate to be thrown into the Hellfire because Islaam is one of the greatest blessings that Our Creator has given to us.

Malaysian Government will kill apostates

"If the person remains an apostate, it is left to the respective authorities to impose the fitting sentence that is death".

Brave "apostate" sent to Jahannam

"When she arrived at the area of the ambush the brothers rained her with bullets from their machine-guns killing her instantly," Ansar al-Sunna said. It added that it had found the telephone numbers of policemen on her mobile phone, citing this as evidence that "she was an agent for the apostate police and the government of the apostate [Prime Minister, Nouri] al-Maliki."

When colleagues called Mrs al-Haideri's phone after she was murdered it was answered by an insurgent who said "she went to hell".

Lord Ahmed, Rushdie, and the "martyrs" of 9/11

What would one say if the Saudi or Afghan governments honoured the martyrs of the September 11 attacks on the United States?
Nazir is pretty cheesed off with Labour, but it didn't really bother anyone when he supported the Tories. So the Baron compares Rushdie to people who massacred 3000 workers in 2001. And calls them martyrs.

The Lahore street speaks

The clerics tried to gather the attention of the Data Darbar visitors over the issue.....Some passers-by were found asking, “Why are they protesting? Who is Rushdie?” “What do these clerics want?”

A "handful of clerics belonging to various religious parties" had gathered at the Data Darbar complex to represent 1.5 billion people and to canvas support for the murder of Rushdie. Daily Times, 23 June 2007

The Hate of Jesus (Part 2)

But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay [them] before me.
Luke 19:27.

The prescribed punishment for a murtadd

If a sane person who has reached puberty voluntarily apostatizes from Islam, he deserves to be punished. In such a case, it is obligatory for the caliph (or his representative) to ask him to repent and return to Islam. If he does, it is accepted from him, but if he refuses, he is immediately killed

Fury of 1.5 billion represented by 20 Londoners

About 20 demonstrators protested at Regents Park mosque in London after prayers yesterday afternoon. Men with their faces covered to avoid identification waved placards, one of which read "God curse the Queen", and shouted slogans.

"We've come to demonstrate against the apostate Salman Rushdie," said one. "He has insulted Islam and the Prophet Muhammad. Salman Rushdie is the devil. We have a responsibility - he should be punished, he should be attacked. We should not be afraid of the kuffar (non-believer).

The Hate of Jesus

If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned." (John 15:6)

Jesus tells true believers how to kindle a fire. And lo, men gathered the unbelievers and cast them into the fire. This verse dictated the Inquisition's terrible method of execution just as the 'smite their necks' suras continue to dictate the favoured method of jihadis.

The hate of Allah

And if any of you Turn back from their faith and die in unbelief, their works will bear no fruit in this life and in the Hereafter; they will be companions of the Fire and will abide therein. Qur'an 2:217

The hate of YHWH

thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people. And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die; because he hath sought to thrust thee away from the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
Deuteronomy 13:9-10.

Dealing with Apostates

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 9, Book 84: Dealing with Apostates

57: Some Zanadiqa (atheists) were brought to 'Ali and he burnt them. The news of this event, reached Ibn 'Abbas who said, "If I had been in his place, I would not have burnt them, as Allah's Apostle forbade it, saying, 'Do not punish anybody with Allah's punishment (fire).' I would have killed them according to the statement of Allah's Apostle, 'Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him.'"

Khomeinist grouplet represents quarter of world's population

It is now apparent that his abuse of a quarter of the world’s population and the subsequent deaths of scores of protestors is not only being supported but indeed honoured. This is a testimony of the current legitimization of abuse and attack against the Muslim community.
The UK's highly unrepresentative neo-Khomeinist, neo-clerical-fascist Islamic 'Human' Rights Commission equates Salman Rushdie's novel with an attack on a quarter of the world's population. The 'scores of deaths' include the killing of 40 people at the Madimak hotel in Sivas, Turkey, by a gang of Islamists baying for the blood of Alevi "infidels" as well as that of Satanic Verses translator Aziz Nesin. Rushdie's fault, of course.

Demented white Trots don't believe in unbelievers

BBC News gives favourable publicity to the Worker Communist Party of Iran's fraudulent front organisation, the so-called Council of Ex-Muslims, as does the Washington Post and the Daily Telegraph. See also A.C. Grayling's ridiculous remarks at Comment is Free.

This from Islamophobia-watch. Favourable publicity presumably insofar as the BBC did not call for the apostates to be killed. Any association with the Muslim left rather than the Muslim right is self-evidently outrageous. Of course, the fact that the Islamophobia watch is a front for an ex-WRP member does not make it fraudulent: it's the content, stupid.

Renewed calls to execute apostate

“The British and the supporters of the anti-Islam Salman Rushdie could rest assured that the writer’s nightmare will not end until the moment of his death and we will bestow kisses on the hands of whomsoever is able to execute this apostate.”
Forouz Rajaefar, general secretary of The Organisation to Commemorate the Martyrs of the Muslim World.
